Lionel Richie [ tickets ] recently said he and The Commodores [ tickets ] will soon reunite for a tour, according to published reports. Richie, who left the Commodores in the late 1970s, said it was important for the group to get together before it loses more band members; lead guitarist Milan Williams died two years ago. The 58-year-old singer reportedly is confident synergy still exists between band members; Commodores' bass player Ronald La Pread joined Richie on stage during his last tour and played some of the group's old hits, such as "Three Times a Lady," and "Brick House."
